Coke Barkada Invites You To Start a Sea Change



Coca-cola Employees, their families, and friends will join thousands of volunteers around the world and Start a Sea Change during this year's International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) on September 20, 2008. This year marks the 13th consecutive year that The Coca-Cola Company has taken the lead in sponsoring the ICC, and the 1st time participation of Coca-Cola Philippines in the event.

Coke Barkada invites YOU to join us on
Saturday, September 20 - as we cleanup a portion of Manila Bay's coastline in San Dionisio, ParaƱaque from 6:00 am to 11:00 am.

And It's not just cleaning up ! You will be part of a worldwide advocacy against marine debris pollution. We will provide you with ICC data cards where you and your team will record and classify the trash that you will find. This data will be forwarded to the Ocean Conservancy and can be used for pollution prevention efforts, can influence legislation and can help spread awareness and further educate the public on the problem of marine debris.

How to Join:
1. Invite more friends and family to join ... volunteers work in teams of 4 people. There's no limit to the number of teams that you can form! (Don't worry if you can't form a team - we'll take care of assigning you to a team on-site)
2. Send us the list of names, email addresses and contact numbers of the people you recruit. Kindly send us the name of your organization also, if applicable! Deadline of Sign Ups will be FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2008.

3. We will confirm your registration and will send you more information on what to expect, what to wear, what to bring - as well as the ICC Data Cards via email.

4. For more specific details...there will be an orientation for volunteers on Thursday, SEPTEMBER 11 at 6:00 PM at the Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines Office, 4F King's Court Bldg II, Chino Roces Ave, Makati City. We hope to see you there!
